Mission Statement

Tyrone Middle School unites staff, parents, and community to provide a quality educational experience which emphasizes academics, values, and safety for every student.

Title 1 is a federally funded program that provides assistance for our nation's schools.


Goals and Objectives

Goal: Highest Student Achievement for all students via coalition with Teachers, Parents, Community, and Students.

Objective: to link and form a reciprocal relationship between students, teachers, parents, and community.

Parent Involvement - Title I is committed to building a strong

parent-school partnership. Become a part of our parent involvement

initiative by:

- Signing the Parent Student Compact

- Returning Lunch Forms

- Attend Monthly Title 1 and PTSA Meetings

- Utilize PCS Portal to stay informed of your child’s academics,

   attendance, and other information.

- Parent Conferences, as needed

- Review Homework Nightly

- Volunteer at Tyrone Middle School to support your child and other

   students.

-Spirit Night @ Chick fil A for Tyrone Middle School is the 3rd Thursday of every month. The official hours are 5pm to 8pm, but if you tell them you are from Tyrone Middle anytime during that day the school earns 15% of the proceeds.

-Our Spring Fundraiser will run from February 27 to March 9. All the items in the book will be $5.00 and the products will be delivered to the school after spring break, but before Easter. (Lots of Easter candy in the catalog).
